Shawshank redemption is a crime drama adapted from a novel written by Stephen king which portrays the life of the criminals serving their sentence in the prison of Shawshank every individual person has their own story which plays an important that completes the world of the prison of Shawshank.
Story of the films built around the life of a banker named Andy Dufrene who's been sentenced for murder of his wife and her lover and sent to the Shawshank prison but he's not accepting his offense. In beginning, he struggles to survive in jail but he learns to live in that surrounding and starts as serving for the prison authorities by becoming a banking advisor for whitewashing their black money and making his life decent and comfortable in there, But is this the Redemption of his life? NO. There is a lot more going on in Shawshank prison. conspiracies, corruption, cruelty, is what Shawshank prison is made of. Once a person sentenced to this prison there is no way out.
All the actors made their characters alive on the screen but Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins did a commendable job as Andy Dufrene and Ellis Boyd redding they affect genuine chemistry in their friendship and independently strengthened theirs characters beautifully.
The direction is the movie is perfect they are able what they wanted to deliver with this tale, the world of the prison is created very legitimately that can suffocate you of its natural depiction.
