Forrest Gump (1994) : You can become anything that you decide and accomplish anything with devotion and hard work.
I watched Forrest Gump with no idea of what this movie is about and continued watching it as if it is a movie based on the life of a problem child but in the end, it is something else that tells you the constant hard work without thinking of its outcome will master you and bring success.
The story of this movie showcases the life of the dull boy but what he pursues he get success by being
honest in his work and not thinking of the result.
The film starts with the boy when his legs are crippled and the other kids laugh at him watching the way he walks, boy likes music and his music teacher adapt his walk and as his dance style and he gets the fame with that dance and known as Elvis Presley in the future, one day the boy gets bullied by some boys and runs with the braces on the legs when those braces brokes and result as he can run faster like athletes when the boy gets young he pursues as a rugby player and wins matches with the help of his running abilities, after this event he joins the army and fights in the war there he fights for his nations and shows heroism by saving many of the fellow soldiers but get injured and honored by the president for his service in the army. After this, he starts to play ping pong and with continuous practice he win many of the championships along with international championship where he wins and represents his nation and receives the honor from the president of America, now after retiring as ping pong player he starts shrimp company which he promised to his army friend who died in combat with his army major who is going through hard times and after many days of work and lucks their shrimp company gets profit. now he meets his teen friend and confesses love to her but she refuses after making love with him and leaves away. times have passed he receives a letter from that girl with her address than he visits her and she confesses something to him and the story carries on.
This story of his life Forrest is narrating sitting on a bus stop to the passengers waiting at the bus stop.
The storytelling of the movie is engaging kept you watching it.
The direction in the movie is remarkable they managed chronology of incidents and made the narrative simplistic and perfectly presented.
I would say no one would have performed the character of Forrest Gump better than Tom Hanks and besides that, the other actors have served flawlessly as their parts.
The official remake of Forrest Gump is soon to be released named Laal Singh Chadda starring Amir Khan in the Hindi language, I expect from Lal Singh Chadda to serve something great to watch.
